WATCH: QL learns about sports massage with Al Emadi Physiotherapy Centre and BMI Fitness

By QL Videos

Qatar Living is going big on fitness, and with work-related muscle and back pain becoming such a commonality, we decided a sports massage for posture was in order.

Our team member, Shaun, visited the section of BMI Fitness that is dedicated to the Al Emadi Physiotherapy Center, for a massage and chance to learn about how stress affects the body, especially in desk-job environments.

Al-Emadi Physiotherapy Center is part of the prestigious 'Dr. Mohammad Abdulla Al-Emadi Holding Group', and is one of the Gulf's most highly advanced and modern physiotherapy centers.

Only the very best specialists administer treatments, with the latest physiotherapy programmes and medical equipment ensuring the center is up to international standards.

Clients and patients receive a personalised treatment programme catering to their condition, and are monitored consistently by the specialists for optimum results.

In the case of Shaun's visit, the sports massage is a very specific type of massage, focusing on many stretches for the very weak muscles. This massage is tailored for posture or sports-related pain and discomfort.

Al Emadi follows six different physiotherapy modalities, including thermotherapy, electrotherapy, manual therapy, kinesiotherapy, spinal decompression and pressotherapy.
