Gigi, from our Qatar Living team, visited Al Emadi Hospital to visit their world class Dermatology Section and meet with Dr. Adel, one of their dermatologists. She received some advice for how to keep skin glowing and beautiful and had a couple treatments done.

She tried the PRP or Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatment. With a sample of her blood, the doctors separated the platelets from her plasma and blood to increase tissue healing, growth and collagen on her face.

The treatment helped eliminate any dry patches Gigi had, and was a success with no bruising occurring during the reinsertion of platelets.

She also tried a simple lip-filler procedure, which helped to plump her lips while keeping a natural look. The procedure was gently administered, and Gigi, who has admitted to being sensitive to pain, said she felt comfortable and cared for.

With this pleasant experience, we can confirm from our end that the Al Emadi Dermatology Department is all it’s cracked up to be, with safe and thorough care available to those that are interested.
