New Softplay Concept ‘Joyful Kidz Area’ Launching in Ain Khaled This June 2025

A new play concept is launching in the heart of Ain Khaled this summer, offering parents a much-needed solution for safe, supervised fun while they shop. Joyful Kidz Area, a softplay zone for children up to age 11, will open its doors inside Lulu Hypermarket Ain Khaled by June 2025.

Behind the concept are two partners, Grace and Evon, who identified a gap in the local market: a child-friendly space that offers active play, creative engagement, and parent peace-of-mind—all without digital distractions.

A Safe, Screen-Free Zone for Kidz

Unlike many indoor playgrounds that mimic mini amusement parks, Joyful Kidz Area (nicknamed “Joyful”) is designed with safety, structure, and social development in mind. The space is fitted with foam flooring, wall and corner padding, full CCTV coverage, and secure entry/exit controls.

Inside, children can enjoy:

• Trampolines

• Ball pits

• Art corners

• Face painting

• Trained on-site supervisors

The environment is tailored to support physical activity, imagination, and interaction—keeping kids moving and engaged without relying on screens.

A Convenience-First Model for Parents

Located within Lulu Hypermarket, Joyful taps into the everyday rhythm of parents in Ain Khaled. Parents doing their weekly grocery run or errands can drop their children off for 30 minutes or an hour, with full supervision and a quick form-fill on arrival.

A Google Form will be used in the pre-launch phase to register early interest, and those who sign up will receive a free session offer at opening.

While there are no plans for a website or app yet, Joyful's team is investing in on-the-ground feedback and social listening as they fine-tune their offerings post-launch.
