Now that we have stepped into the new year, it creates the perfect opportunity for anime-lovers to look forward to the highly anticipated anime titles that have been announced for the year 2021.

Even if you are not really into anime, it will feature some titles that can create a foundation for your anime journey.

The anime titles featured on this list takes inspiration from a range of genres, showcasing originals, sequels, and remakes.

With a number of shows being postponed as of last year due to obvious reasons, 2021 looks like it is going to be a great year for all anime lovers in Qatar.

Here is our list of anime titles you can look forward to this year.

The Promised Neverland Season Two

The first season of The Promised Neverland was a remarkable presentation of a modern fantasy thriller, as the story depicts increasing tension between the protagonist, Emma, and her fellow orphans who attempt to escape their home before being sent to their deaths.

After finally achieving freedom, they are now faced with the situation of dealing with the unknown of the rest of the world. It is expected that their journey is not going to be an easy one.

If it is anything like the first season, there is no doubt that many of you will be happy to know that the second season is scheduled to air on January 6, 2021.

Moreover, it has been confirmed that the series will be released on Funimation, Hulu, and AnimeLab.

We recommend this anime title for beginners as the first season is fairly small with just 12 episodes.

Attack on Titan Final Season 4

The final season of Attack on Titan has been on the most awaited anime title for a while now, and many will be happy to know that the final season is being aired right now.

The fourth season is now 5 episodes deep and many of us can only imagine what MAPPA studios have in store for this season that will feature 16 episodes in total.

Nonetheless, it is expected to be one of the best action-packed anime out there, with plot twists no one can expect.

The much-anticipated final chapter can be viewed weekly on both Crunchyroll and Funimation.

My Hero Academia Season 5

It is now time for the heroes of tomorrow to continue their training and tackle whatever the league of villains has planned for them next.

Moreover, they do it all while attending classes and it is expected that this season will feature the long-awaited clash between classes as the protagonist, Deku, and his friends take on class 1-B.

Some of you can also look forward to Deku’s (Izuku Midoriya) quirk and his connection to the previous ‘one-for-all’ users.

The fifth season of My Hero Academia will be launched from 27th March 2021 and the previous seasons contains a total of 88 episodes, making it a great anime for those who like to binge-watch.

Dr. Stone: Stone Wars

The first season of Dr. Stone was arguably one of the best anime series back in 2019 and quickly became a fan-favorite for its amazing story, science, and character.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us were not expecting a new season anytime soon. That was until Crunchyroll confirmed the return of the series with a second season which is to be aired on Thursday, January 14th, 2021.

The second season will focus on the growing conflict between Senku’s Kingdom of Science and Tsukasa’s Empire and has therefore been titled ‘The Stone Wars’.

Chainsaw Man

MAPPA, an animation studio, has announced that Chainsaw Man will now be getting an anime adaptation through its social media outlets.

Although an official release date has yet to be announced, the series is expected to premiere in November 2021.

From the production of The God of Highschool, Dorohedoro, Jujutsu Kaisen, and the final season of Attack on Titan, MAPPA has had an incredible year in 2020. Showcasing stunning visuals through these titles, you have every reason to be excited that the same animation studio will be releasing the Chainsaw Man adaptation.

There has never been a better time for you to start your anime journey. Once you do you will definitely start craving for more.

Apart from the featured anime titles, there are many more exciting anime series, adaptations, and movies that have yet to be announced. Make sure you stay tuned so that we can update you on the latest announcements.
