Hi, Have you found a solution?

Second hand furniture is way cheaper in Qatar and it is of good quality. As far as custom duty is concerned, it is flat 5%. Just contact any clearance agency, they will manage everything for you. You just need to pay agency fees.

Hasask1: Suggest you contact clearing & forwarding agents to get a clear picture. You can get their contact details through Google. Call some of them after the holidays.

Molten: Just keep your STUPID comments and advice to yourself, okay? I don't need it, and neither does anybody else.

We did calculation and it is easier and cheaper for us to bring out furniture over.

Just worried about the customs tax thing. As it is not very clear online.

Hello, Hasa, Please ignore further inputs from Accha, He will sure come back and post his unrelated stuff here n there as usual. ........... best thing is to ignore such people ...........

Accha, It is his choice, please focus on the query, the query was about custom, you did not know anything about custom, so found a new way to answer here, which is totally uncalled for. Please help and support people, please do not question or investigate the newcomers, which you are doing for the past 6 years - 3 months, non stop, you find a pleasure out of unrelated responses on 100% of your comments, people are fed up now, because 6 years - 3 months are not a short period , specially if it is a disturbance ....... !! You target the new comers that is more cruel , if somebody asks me .......... but you will not change your ways in the next 6 years - 3 months also. It appears to us all. ..........

The big question is: Why go through all the botheration of shipping your furniture all the way from the UK to Qatar when almost everything is available here?
