Why we love Aspire Park!

With a modern and sophisticated image, Qatar is a well-known tourist destination in the Gulf. Its numerous natural attractions like the sand dunes, beaches, and inland sea make it a great place to visit or to live. But that's not it, for all those looking for green and recreational places in Qatar then it also has various parks located in amazing locations.

Today we are taking a look at Aspire Park, one of the favorite parks here, thanks to its wideness, its lake, the lush greenery, and facilities. The park, launched in 2006 for the Asian Games, now provides residents and visitors with the perfect location to enjoy and relax outdoors. Its location in Al Waab is worth mentioning as it occupies one of the centers of tourist hotspots in Qatar, Villaggio Mall, the Torch, Hyatt Plaza Mall, and the FIFA World cup 2022, Khalifa International stadium.

Aspire Park is well-equipped with various facilities and activities to do for children and adults. It features dedicated jogging, running, and bicycle soft surface trails, children’s play areas, and large trees providing the needed shaded areas for picnicking under. The park also features a large lake with an abundance of fish and ducks making it a children’s favorite spot. Our favorite and recommended spot in the park is the water bridge which you can cross enjoying a little splash of water and freshness.

This place is great for people who are into running or walking as the park’s measured trail extends to the adjacent Aspire Zone which is also another great place to exercise. We would say that it makes a perfect park sweating off, the place itself pushing you to your limits when it comes to fitness.

The park has its own cafe and other famous food cafes, restaurants, and kiosks. You can dine at Burgeri burger spot, enjoy desserts at Chac’Late and Sugar & Spice or chill out at Starbucks. There are benches around, prayer rooms, toilets, and the park is accessible to public transportation too. The park also holds various festivals during the cooler months, for example, the fountain show at the lake, the kite festival, and much more.

Park Timings: Open 24 Hours

Entry Fee: Free

Pets: Not allowed

With Aspire park being the center of attraction of Al Waab and Al Aziziya districts, there are other amenities in these districts which make them perfect for living. Gated compounds are very common along with several Western-curriculum and local schools, click here to view the list of schools in Al Waab. Notable amenities are a metro station, the Aspire zone, the malls, and numerous restaurants. Click here to view properties in Al Waab and Al Aziziyah.
