Working in Ras Laffan, option accomdation Al-Khor or Doha?

By hanif8475

Hi. I need some advise and help. I am a family of 3 and will be working in Ras Laffan. Just wonder, what is the best option for a family, staying in Al-Khor or Ras Laffan? Which area have more options in term of schooling? May I know the metro construction status? Will it be connected from Ras Laffan through Al-Khor and Doha? In term of shops and entertainment, what can I expect if living in Al-Khor? Or there is a similartiy between Doha and Al-Khor. Appreciate your input.

Thanks for the feedback. At least I have some overview on how Al-Khor is. I could imagine this place is really peace of mind and less traffic. Compare to Doha, it is more urban and always busy I guess. I wonder, is there a food delivery in both cities?

If you're going to stay that far the best mode of transportation and probably the only mode of transportation is having your own car. You have plenty of shopping centres and garages over there. If you love going to beaches and nature, Al Khor has a lot of them. When it comes to schooling, your options become limited to a few international schools but do have many kindergartens.
