
18th edition of Doha Jewellery & Watches exhibition to be held on 9 May 2022

The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition 2022 (DJWE) will return this festival season with its 18th Edition, that will take place from 9-13 May at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Centre (DECC).
DJWE is Qatar National Tourism Council's (QNTC) flagship exhibition, and it attracts top luxury watch and jewellery brands, as well as jewellery connoisseurs from Qatar and around the world.
The 18th edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition, already recognized as one of the most important and unique jewellery and watch events in the world, will feature a stunning array of exhibitors displaying the latest and most exclusive pieces from many international brands.
In May, the highlight of QNTC's calendar of events, DJWE, will return to dazzle its audiences with more offerings during the summer months, an exciting line-up of events, and the presence of international celebrities."
DJWE, Qatar's most anticipated exhibition, will feature over 65 exhibitors, 500 renowned international brands, and exclusive pavilions from Turkey and India. Alia Bhatt, the acclaimed Bollywood star, is the face of DJWE's global campaign this year. A series of workshops will be held with jewellery and watch experts.
This was announced by Qatar Tourism (QT) at its Annual Tourism Industry Ramadan Ghabga, which brought together industry partners from the public and private sectors.

They have successfully resumed all tourism activity in time to host the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and they have an exciting line-up of events for Qatar residents and visitors to enjoy.
The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition, which has grown and evolved over the years to become a global leader in the luxury goods industry and the highlight of Qatar's events calendar, is a must-attend event for anyone with an appreciation for the finest craftsmanship and offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy a journey of elegance, heritage, and luxury.

QNTC and its subsidiary Qatar Business Events Corporation (QBEC), which also manages the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre, continue to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Public Health to implement health and safety measures. These are carried out in conjunction with international best practices in the organization of events such as DJWE, with a focus on ensuring the safety of exhibitors and visitors.
Qatar Clean, a joint initiative of QNTC and the Ministry of Public Health, is still being implemented in all hotels and restaurants. Businesses in the sector are encouraged to apply for Qatar Clean certification as soon as possible in order to ensure their continued operation and the safety of visitors.
The QNTC has made it mandatory that the requirements for event organizers, stating that approvals from the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and licenses from the Council are required prior to holding exhibitions, conferences, and events.
