
236 face prosecution for violating Covid-19 norms

COVID-19 is a dangerous virus that has killed millions of people around the world and left others with long-term health problems caused by SARS-CoV-2
According to QNA, the designated authorities sent 236 people to the prosecution for failing to follow the country's preventive and precautionary measures to stop the spread of Covid-19.
229 people were charged with not wearing masks and seven others were charged with not activating the Ehteraz app. The steps are in conformity with the Cabinet decision and Decree Law No. 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, as well as the country's current Covid-19 prevention efforts.

Qatar has taken steps to combat the spread of COVID-19 by establishing new medical facilities and starting a free vaccination program for all citizens and residents of the country.
The Ministry of Public Health encourages all citizens and residents to take infection prevention measures.
