With the end of the Holy month of Ramadan fast approaching, the entire country is preparing for Eid al-Fitr prayers.

Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has readied 590 mosques and prayer grounds for use by worshippers for Eid Al Fitr prayer.

It also published a list of mosques and prayer grounds (including name, number and location) across the country which will hold Eid al-Fitr prayers. You can check out the entire list here.

The Ministry also confirmed that the Eid prayer would take place at 5.21 am.

Earlier, Qatar’s Education City Stadium, which hosted several matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, announced they would hold Eid al-Fitr prayers for the first time.

Following prayers organised by Education City’s Minaretein Center, believers can also take part in an Eid Festival.

Msheireb Properties announced that Eid Prayer ground at Msheireb Downtown Doha will welcome worshippers on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

A significant historical landmark of Msheireb Downtown Doha, the prayer ground has been restored and developed to preserve the region’s legacy and history.

The original construction of the ancient Eid Prayer ground dates back to the first decade of the last century and was one of the major restoration projects in Msheireb Downtown Doha.

The Bin Zaid Centre Masjid at the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center (FANAR) will host Eid prayer and Khutbah in English at 5.21 am. Welcoming men and women of all ages, the centre will also present gifts to children after Eid prayers.
