After Egypt, HH The Amir travels to Saudi Arabia to attend multiple meetings

HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who made a state visit to Egypt earlier in the day, arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to meet with top officials.

Upon arrival, Sheikh Tamim was warmly welcomed by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the King Khalid International Airport.

HH The Amir then conducted discussions with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman about the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields.

During talks held at the Al Yamamah Palace, the two leaders discussed developments in Palestine, efforts to stop Israeli aggression and bringing in urgent humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.

The talks were attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Head of the State Security HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and a number of other senior officials.

From the Saudi side, the attendees were Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet HRH Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Sports HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, Minister of Interior HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif Al Saud, and Minister of National Guard HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Adviser HE Dr. Musaed Bin Mohammed Al Aiban.

HH The Amir will also participate in the extraordinary summit of the Council of the League of Arab States and the Eighth Extraordinary Islamic Summit, scheduled to be held in Riyadh on Saturday.
