A remarkable number of workers and specialists from the agriculture and environment industries attended the second day of the 9th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) and the 3rd International Environmental Exhibition (EnviroteQ).
Participants were given an overview of the latest products in these two industires, met leading producers, suppliers, and decision-makers from specialized ministries, discussed the needs of the local market, reviewed the most prominent technology adopted in the two fields, and discussed the latest sustainable development innovations.
There were many interested people from various countries of the world at both exhibitions. Particularly notable is the presence of many local, Gulf, and international exhibitors and participants in the accompanying events, which demonstrates the deep relations between the countries and their respective governments.
Officials and experts participating in the exhibition stressed that the presence of a wide participation and Gulf states, at the level of companies and exhibitors reflects the great interest in attending such important events, as a way to share their experiences between those interested in agricultural and environmental solutions, learn about the latest trends and technologies in these two vital sectors, which are mainly related to the Sustainable Development Goals and food security, and showcase their products.

Participating Gulf institutions and companies expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the hospitality, which furthers the concerted efforts of the Gulf states, as these two exhibitions offer a platform that allows specialists and experts to learn about modern technologies such as water treatment, waste management, smart agriculture, and more.
HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Engineer Ahmed bin Saleh Al Ayada emphasized the importance of the agricultural and environmental exhibitions, highlighting the extensive participation both on a local and international level, pointing out that the participation by Saudi Arabia is crucial to improving the quality of cooperation between the two nations, facilitating the movement of goods between them, and enhancing exchange of experiences.
In his remarks to QNA, HE Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Bakri, HE Undersecretary for Agriculture at Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources of the Sultanate of Oman, identified the 9th AgriteQ and 3rd EnviroteQ as important events for agricultural cooperation between GCC countries, both at the public and private level, describing the cooperation among Gulf states as positive and distinguished.
At the five-day exhibitions, major agreements are expected to be signed between government agencies and private sector companies, or between Gulf investors and international investors.
