
Amiri Air Force performs a joint air show with Saudi Arabia and British Air Force

The Amiri Air Force and Al Zaeem Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Attiya Air Academy performed an air show with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and the British Royal Air Force (RAF), yesterday (Saturday, November 5, 2022) near the Doha Corniche and West Bay area.
Brigadier General Mohammed Ali Al Hajri, Director of the Directorate of Moral Guidance in the Armed Forces, said that many Typhoons "Al Dhariyat" of the Amiri Air Force aircrafts participated in the air parade, along with members of the joint Qatar UK Typhoon Squadron (12 Squadron), which also joined with Typhoon aircraft, the British Royal Air Force's aerobatic team (Red Arrows), the Royal Saudi Air Force's Saudi Falcons aerobatic team, and the Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiya Air Academy aerobatic team.
Brigadier General Mohammed Ali Al Hajri said that among the tasks of the joint Qatar UK Typhoon Squadron participating in the air show is to ensure the securing of airspace during FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The presence of the British Red Arrows and Saudi Falcons at the airshow was said by Al Hajri to indicate the strong mutual relations between the Amiri Air Force, the Royal Saudi Air Force, and the British Royal Air Force – A remarkable air show was presented by the aircraft that participated in the parade, demonstrating the skills and training of the pilots.
