As the cooler months descend upon Qatar, the much-anticipated MIA Bazaar returns to the picturesque MIA Park starting this Friday. The annual community Bazaar, held at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), holds a special place in Qatar's calendar and will be held every Friday and Saturday from October 20, 2023 to March 2024.

The MIA Bazaar is a vibrant gathering that unites both residents and tourists in celebration of Qatar's rich heritage and cultural diversity. This event serves as a thriving platform for local artists to showcase their talents and for artisans and entrepreneurs to exhibit their craftsmanship. Visitors can explore a diverse range of handmade goods, jewelry, textiles, traditional items, as well as a many stalls offering local and international cuisine and delectable desserts, in addition to the food trucks and kiosks at MIA Park.

With the onset of winter, the scenic MIA park with its spectacular views of Doha’s Corniche and West Bay, provides the ideal setting to enjoy an afternoon picnic or an evening stroll with family and friends.

Dr. Julia Gonella, MIA Director said, "We are delighted to welcome the community back to the MIA Bazaar. This annual event embodies the spirit of Qatar's cultural diversity and creativity, providing an inclusive platform for people of all backgrounds to come together, enjoy the weather and celebrate great finds.”

The MIA Bazaar is a family-friendly event with free admission, open on Fridays from 2 pm to 10 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm.
