The recognition underlines Ashghal’s proficiency in continuous improvement through the development of processes and capabilities. It also acknowledges its ability to establish strategies and initiatives regarding sustainability and knowledge management.
Ashghal President Dr Eng Saad bin Ahmad Al Muhannadi was proud to have received the European recognition.
“Continuing diligence with unceasing institutional planning and development helped us achieve these levels. I thank our employees for their unequivocal efforts and determination. Since excellence is a journey and not a destination, I urge Ashghal leaders and employees to continue to thrive and aim for higher excellence standards,” he said.
“For Ashghal, the ‘Journey to Excellence’ wasn't a spur-of-the-moment event, but one that evolved over the last few years,” said Ashghal’s Manager of the Planning and Quality Department Eng Jamal Sharida Al Kaabi.
Several types of training — for leaders, internal assessors, initiative teams and other staff — were developed with the aim of qualifying Ashghal’s employees for the journey to excellence.
