Awqaf Ministry calls for sighting of Ramadan crescent on Friday

The Crescent Sighting Committee at Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called on all Muslims in the country to investigate the sighting of the crescent moon of the holy month of Ramadan on the evening of Friday, February 28.

In a statement, the committee called on anyone who sees the crescent to come to its headquarters located in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs building in the Dafna Towers to give their testimony. The committee is set to hold its meeting immediately after the sunset prayer on Friday.
