Bu Garn Vaccination Center for Business and Industry to open on January 9

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced on their Twitter account that the Qatar Vaccination Center (QVC) for Business and Industry is set to open on January 9 in Bu Garn. The center is expected to administer the Covid-19 vaccines to business and industry workers.
The Bu Garn QVC follows in the footsteps of the QVC for Business and Industry that was set up in Industrial Area last year, from June–October 2021. It spanned 300,000 square meters and was one of the largest vaccination facilities in the world. Manned by over 700 medical professionals working 12-hour shifts, the center operated six days a week.

Sharing a video of the Industrial Area QVC, the Ministry also pointed out the successful operation model of the center. The facility played a crucial role in administering 1.6 million doses of vaccine during its functioning period.
The initiative to launch a dedicated QVC for industry workers was a joint effort between the public and private sectors in Qatar. The cooperation of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC)’s medical team and support staff is expected to yield the same results for the Bu Garn Vaccination Center.
The Center will not entertain walk-ins and is expected to operate on an appointment-only basis. To support the booking and appointment scheduling process at the Center, The Covid-19 Vaccination Scheduling Unit has been set up.
To book an appointment, emails can be sent to QVC@hamad.qa
