Celebrate Eid Al Fitr holidays with music and concerts
Qatar Tourism is gearing up in earnest to bring some great musical performances and concerts — from music artists to Disney blockbuster events — to the country for Eid Al Fitr 2024 holidays.
Qatar Tourism is planning a rich line-up of family-friendly events that will cater to people of all ages, from young adults to older people.
Hamad Al Khaja, Qatar Tourism’s Head of Events and Festivals Technical Support Section, said he was thrilled to bring such a varied list of offerings to those in the country.
“We’re pleased to host some of the biggest names in the film, theatre, and music industries in Qatar for Eid Al Fitr 2024. We’re also delighted to welcome visitors from neighboring GCC countries at the Abu Samra Border with special Eidya packages that’ll enhance their stay in Qatar during this holiday. These family-friendly events testify to Qatar’s ongoing commitment towards being a leading family tourist destination in the region,” he said.
Here are some of the shows that will be on offer to people during Eid Al Fitr 2024 holidays.
LEGO Shows
Date: April 10 to 24
Venue: Halls 8 and 9, Qatar National Convention Centre
The LEGO®Shows Qatar will allow families to experience and partake in entertainment forms pertaining to the famous children’s toy.
Sarah G x Bamboo Concert
Date: April 11
Venue: Halls 3 and 4, Qatar National Convention Centre
Filipino popstar royalty — Sarah Geronimo — and rock icon Bamboo will perform at the joint concert. These Filipino music icons will be performing outside of the Philippines for the first time.
The Lion King Live in Concert / Toy Story in Concert
Date: April 12 and April 13
Venue: Al Mayassa Theater, Qatar National Convention Centre
Two of Disney’s most popular motion pictures will come to Qatar in their live concert form. The Lion King Live in Concert will be held on April 12 and Toy Story in Concert will be on April 13. Families and children are welcome to enjoy the musical evenings.
Ayed Concert
Date: April 16
Venue: Qatar National Convention Centre
Popular Arab singer Ayed will perform live in Qatar and will present a great opportunity for Arab music fans.
‘Eidya’ gift at Abu Samra Border
Qatar Tourism will welcome visitors at the Abu Samra Border with the ‘Eidya’ gift package and discounts, specially curated for the holy occasion of Eid Al Fitr 2024. The visitors will be welcomed with open arms and given a chance to visit Qatar’s wonders.
