Cityscape Qatar to offer a birds-eye view of real estate opportunities in the country
The 11th edition of Cityscape Qatar, organised under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, will kick off at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre on October 24, organisers announced on Tuesday.
Attendees will be able to access two other exhibitions — INDEX Design Qatar and The Big 5 Construct Qatar (both October 23 to 25) — alongside Cityscape Qatar, all with a single pass.
The three exhibitions will give people innovative sector insights and the chance to network with peers.
Cityscape Qatar, which will showcase more than 50 prestigious exhibitors, is anticipating a turnout of more than 10,000 visitors. Qatar Airways, the exhibition’s official airline partner, will soon launch exclusive flight offers for attendees.
Qatari Diar, Barwa Real Estate, Qatar Sotheby’s, Mazaya, Sky Bridge, Global Migrate, Italian Trade Agency, Just Real Estate, and UDC are some of the local exhibitors who have been confirmed so far.
Among international names, Trafalgar Properties, Ray White, Bin Faqeeh and Regal London will be represented.
Cityscape Qatar is expected to bring together thousands of industry professionals, homebuyers, and investors to explore opportunities, trends, and challenges within Qatar’s real estate landscape.
According to a report by Knight Frank, residential property is the most popular class of real estate, at 37%, followed by office space (33%) and retail property (23%).
Qatar’s real estate segment has been the biggest beneficiary of the $229bn invested in infrastructure in the run-up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
This year, ‘Cityscape Talks’ will return as the ‘go-to platform’ for everything related to real estate in Qatar. It will complement the exhibition and deliver great value and insight to attendees and exhibitors.
Cityscape Talks will also feature the Cityscape WIRE (Women in Real Estate) initiative, with a dedicated panel and networking session featuring women leaders, their stories, achievements, and contributions to Qatari real estate.
“Building on the success of previous editions, we’re excited to announce the launch of Cityscape Qatar 2023, with prestigious exhibitors, the latest project launches, and unique industry insight. We welcome the community to visit and discover leading real estate offerings in Qatar and the wider GCC,” said Cityscape Qatar’s Exhibition director Alexander Edwards.
