If you are a connoisseur of tea, coffee, or chocolate, then you are in for some exciting news.

Starting today, the Old Doha Port’s Mina District will host the seventh edition of the Coffee, Tea & Chocolate Festival (CTC), which will run until April 20, from 4pm until 12am.

CTC General Manager George Simon said the exhibition would feature over 40 kiosks dedicated to coffee, tea, chocolate, and sweets, along with a food court with eight participating restaurants.

“The 10-day festival, which offers a dedicated kids and carnival area as well as a stage for daily entertainment activities, will cater to families and kids,” he told The Peninsula.

The organizers said all preparations were complete for the event. Exhibitors at this year’s event include Qatar International Import and Export, McLaren Cafe, Ice Cream Plaza, Sweetio, Godiva, Cafe Vergnano, Qatar Oasis, Churros, Oop, Mylk, Dolce Fresco, and Popcorn Gallery, among others.

The sixth edition of the event was held on the sidelines of Expo 2023 Doha, in November-December last year. The event had attracted over 70,000 visitors, and the organisers expect expect similar numbers this time around.

The festival aims to unite chocolate, tea, and coffee enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of coffee brews, tea blends, and chocolate mixes.

The public can reach the venue by taking the Metro Gold line, alighting at the National Museum and boarding feeder Bus No. M315, which will take them to the Old Doha Port.

Coffee industry in the Middle East has been experiencing rapid growth. Qatar boasts a robust coffee industry, evident in the proliferation of new cafes, roasteries, and specialty shops.
