Cultural contribution of the Embassy of Ecuador to the State of Qatar
Ambassador of Ecuador in Qatar H.E Mr. Pascual Del Cioppo, in a special ceremony, donated several books to the renowned and recognized Qatar National Library QNL.
The books were personally delivered to Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz AL kuwari, Director General of the Qatar National Library, highlighting the books on the diversity and unique National Beauty of the Galapagos Islands by Fernando Espinosa, the commemorative book of the 20 years of history of the final signing of the peace agreement between Ecuador and Peru, and, especially in the week of the signing by the Ecuadorian Chancellor H.E Mrs. Gabriela Sommerfeld of the extension of validity of the Ecuador-Peru binational cooperation plan.
Other literary and historical titles by Ecuadorian authors were also delivered and are currently displayed on the shelves of Qatar National Library.
In this way, the cultural, historical and literary contribution of Ecuador in this region is and will be progressive, especially for the research of historians and students in the State of Qatar.
