Doha International Book Fair to start on May 9 at DECC

The Qatar Ministry of Culture has announced in an official statement that the 33rd edition of the Doha International Book Fair will begin on May 9, 2024 and will run till May 18, 2024. The slogan for this year’s event will be “With Knowledge, Civilizations Build”.

This year’s book fair will witness the largest international participation in its history with more than 515 publishing houses from 42 countries participating in the event. The event will be held at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center

The annual book fair is a prominent cultural event with wide participation from Arab and foreign publishing houses. It aims to develop the knowledge economy, in addition to reflecting the state of Qatar’s cultural scene.
