Doha Metro announces Green Line’s temporary closure on Friday
If you are planning to travel by Doha Metro’s Green Line on Friday, August 11, this announcement is for you. The Green Line will be closed on Friday to carry out maintenance work, announced Doha Metro on Wednesday.
To minimise disruption, Doha Metro will operate buses along three routes at 10-minute intervals.
While the first bus service will go in one direction — from Al Bidda to Al Riffa Mall of Qatar — the second will be a return trip from Al Riffa Mall of Qatar to Al Bidda. The third route will be a shuttle service between Al Mansoura and Al Doha Al Jadeeda.
Doha Metro announced that none of the buses will stop at The White Palace station. The metroexpress and metrolink will operate as usual.
