Doha Women Forum 2024 : empowering women for a better future

The 7th edition of the Doha Women Forum will take place on September 21 and 22 at The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, under the theme "Invest in Women: The Path for peace, Security and Inclusion." This year's event will emphasize the vital role of women in strengthening global communities, according to the forums organizers. 

"The theme highlights the profound impact of investing in women, and we are eager to foster meaningful discussions, that will drive change for future generations" said Conchita Pnce, Founder of the Doha Women Forum. Over the years the forum has been instrumental in connecting and empowering women across various industries. 

With 30 distinguished speakers, including Eman Al Kuwari, Director of Digital Innovation at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ghanim Al Sulaiti, CEO of Enbat Holdings, and acclaimed composer Dana Al Fardan, the forum will feature panel discussions that explore challenges and opportunities for women in leadership, STEM, entrepreneurship, health, and education. 

Iberdrola Innovation Middle East is the forum's strategic partner and will co-host the 'STEMnism' segment, celebrating women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Notable figures such as Dr. Veronica Bermudez from the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute and Fuencisla Merino from Ooredoo Group will discuss creating inclusive environments to empower future female leaders. 

In addition to insightful discussions, the event will offer cultural experiences, networking opportunities, and a fashion show by Isituti Di Moda Burgo from Qatar.
