Guess which metrolink routes will get shorter wait times?
Anyone who has used the Doha Metro or Lusail Tram will know how helpful Metrolink buses are. Plying a circuitous route, they pick up and drop off passengers from in and around Metro station localities.
And now, regular metrolink users along four busy routes — M148, M152, M302 and M303 — have reasons to cheer as the Doha Metro & Lusail Tram has announced shorter waiting times.

The M148 metrolink buses, which ply along the Red Line’s UDST - Qatar University route, will have the following wait times between Sundays and Thursdays — nine minutes (6am to 10am and 2pm to 6pm), 12 minutes (10am to 2pm), 15 minutes (6pm to 9pm) and 20 minutes (other times, Fridays and Saturdays).
There will be two types of waiting times on the M152 (Abraj Quartier — Legtaifiya, Red line), M302 (Fereej Bin Mahmoud — Al Sadd, Gold line), and M303 routes (Rawdat Al Khail — Bin Mahmoud, Gold line).
While a passenger will have to wait only nine minutes during peak hours (6am to 9am and 3pm to 8pm, Sunday to Thursday, and 2pm to 10pm on Fridays), it will climb to 15 minutes during off-peak hours.
The free-of-charge metrolink feeder buses provide first and last mile connectivity to Qatar Rail customers within a two to five-kilometer radius of Doha Metro stations.
