Gulf Cinema to be upgraded soon

Qatar Cinema Company and Qatar Museums are in the initial stages of discussions to establish a collaborative framework aimed at mutually beneficial goals. Among these objectives is the restoration and rejuvenation of the Doha Cinema and Gulf Cinema building, situated in the Najma area along the third ring road.

Under the proposed agreement, Qatar Museums envisions the establishment of a media and cultural hub. Cinémathèque Qatar, within the premises of the Gulf and Doha Cinema building. This initiative aligns with the vision and standards upheld by Qatar Museums, aiming to provide a rich cultural experience for visitors. 

Furthermore, this collaborative effort seeks to encourage tourism and cultural appreciation by highlighting the historical and architectural significance of the cinema complex. Regular and annual events are planned to be hosted, benefitting both parties involved and contributing to the commercial viability of the project.
