This year's Eid al-Adha prayer holds special significance as it coincides with the remarkable 10th anniversary of Sheikh Tamim's ascension to power. Despite facing challenges such as a multi-year blockade and a global pandemic, Qatar emerged stronger under his transformative leadership.
Prayers were held across the country, with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs preparing 610 mosques and grounds for believers to observe their prayers.
A historic moment unfolded at the Education City Stadium, where thousands gathered for the first-ever Eid al-Adha prayer on its premises.
Additionally, children enjoyed various entertainment activities, including face painting, colorful animal balloons, engaging sports activities, henna painting, and foosball.
Having previously hosted several matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Education City Stadium continues to be a symbol of unity and devotion.
