HH the Amir lays foundation stone for Ras Laffan Petrochemical Complex

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated the Ras Laffan Petrochemical Complex project in Ras Laffan Industrial City yesterday by laying the foundation stone.

A documentary film showcasing the project, hailed as one of the largest petrochemical endeavors globally, was presented during the ceremony. This project is poised to significantly enhance ethylene and derivative production capacity, elevating Qatar's annual petrochemical output to around 14 million tons.

HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi delivered an address at the event, emphasizing its importance.

The ceremony was attended by several distinguished ministers, CEOs, senior officials from QatarEnergy's partners, and esteemed guests.
