HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will join hundreds of citizens to perform blessed Eid al-Adha prayers at the Lusail praying area on early Wednesday morning.

HH The Amir will then meet Eid al-Adha well-wishers at the Lusail Palace, both in the morning and afternoon.

Sheikh Tamim will first welcome Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers, Shura Council Speaker, undersecretaries of ministries, members of the Shura Council and citizens immediately after prayers until 6:00 am.

From 6:00 am to 6:15 am, officers from the armed forces and police, and directors of national departments and institutions will meet with HH The Amir.

Sheikh Tamim will once again welcome well-wishers immediately after Al Asr prayer and continue until 3:45 pm. From 3:45 pm until 4:00 pm, the heads of various diplomatic missions will meet with HH The Amir.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sheikh Tamim exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings via telephone with several leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.

He spoke to United Arab Emirates President HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister HRH Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
