HH Amir strengthens ties with Finland during official visit
HH The Amir, has concluded his official visit to Norway and arrived in Helsinki for an official visit to Finland. During his time in Helsinki, HH the Amir held high-level talks with Finnish President Alexander Stubb at the Presidential Palace. Marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Qatar and Finland, both leaders emphasized the strong bond between their nations and discussed ways to expand cooperation in key sectors, including investment, energy, education and international relations.
In addition to bilateral discussions, the leaders exchanged views on critical international issues, with a focus on the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The session was attended at Qatar's side by Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Minister of State for Energy Affairs HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, along with senior officials and members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
The official talks were attended by senior officials from both sides, followed by an official reception and dinner in honor of HH the Amir and his delegation.
