HH the Amir and UAE President address the need to avoid conflict in the region

In a phone call, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in discussions with his counterpart, HH President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on bolstering the fraternal ties between their nations and addressing regional and international developments.

The conversation, initiated by HH the President of the UAE and received by HH the Amir on Sunday, underscored the imperative of reducing all forms of escalation and steering clear of widening conflicts in the region. Both leaders emphasized the critical necessity of implementing a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, emphasizing the urgency of reaching a permanent and conclusive resolution to the Palestinian cause.
