HH The Amir, US President discuss ways for immediate, permanent Gaza ceasefire

HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from US President Joe Biden on Monday.

During the call, the two leaders discussed about developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. They also spoke about the two nations’ extensive efforts to reach an immediate and permanent ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The leaders also discussed strategic relations between the two countries and about ways to support and enhance them, in addition to discussing regional and international developments.
