HH The Amir's historic visit strengthens Qatar - Nepal relations

HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's historic visit to Nepal marks a significant milestone in mutual relations between Qatar and Nepal. HH The Amir held a warm meeting with the President of Nepal H E Ram Chandra Poudel at the Sheetal Niwas Presidential Palace in Kathmandu, where both leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening mutual cooperation and advancing relations to broader levels. 

H E the President of Nepal warmly welcomes HH the Amir and his accompanying delegation, recognizing High Highness' visit as the first by an Arab leader to Nepal. This historic gesture encourages the deep-rooted ties between the two nations, fostering positivity for further collaboration across many sectors. 

Expressing gratitude for the gracious reception and hospitality extended by H E the President of Nepal, HH the Amir restated the significance of the visit in strengthening the already distinguished relations between Qatar and Nepal. HH the Amir highlighted the potential for fruitful discussions, agreements, and memoranda of understanding to cultivate friendly relations and cooperation to benefit both nations and their people. 

The meeting dived into various angles of cooperation between Qatar and Nepal, with a focus on enhancing and developing existing partnerships. Additionally, regional and international issues of common interests were deliberated upon affirming the shared commitment to addressing global challenges collectively. 

The distinguished gathering witnessed the presence of high-ranking officials from both sides, including HE the Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir.

President Poudel, extended further hospitality by hosting a dinner banquet in honor of HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation, symbolizing the warmth and fellowship of Qatar - Nepal relations. 

HH the Amir's visit stands as a testament to the enduring friending between Qatar and Nepal and sets the stage for deeper collaboration and mutual prosperity in the years to come.
