HIA unveils world’s first-ever FIFA Store at Qatar Duty Free
Hamad International Airport welcomed the opening of the first FIFA store in history (HIA) at Qatar Duty Free. The Orchard, North Plaza, which is a component of the airport's Phase A development, is where you can find the FIFA store.
The ceremony was presided over by HIA Chief Operating Officer Engr Badr Mohammed Al Meer and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive H E Akbar Al Baker.
Clothing, footballs, accessories, and World Cup 2022 official licensed goods are all available at the FIFA store.
The variety of clothing includes coats, shawls, caps, and jerseys from teams that have qualified for the major sporting event. The Gahwa cup set, multi-charging cable, match ticket frame, Official FIFA World Cup 22 Riyal Note - Souvenir Currency, and La'eeb souvenir products are additional items.
Customers may buy FIFA classic apparel from some of the most well-known FIFA World Cups, like Mexico '70, France '98, South Africa '10, and Uruguay '30, in a unique section of the store called "FIFA Rewind." These consist of timeless t-shirts, coats, hoodies, and other clothing.
The official match ball for the semifinals and championship matches is available for purchase at the shop. Al Rihla, which in Arabic means "The Journey," is replaced by Al Hilm, which in Arabic means "The Dream" and has a distinctive graphic design.
The official mascot for this year's FIFA World Cup 2022 is La'eeb, which translates to "super-skilled player." He is a part of a different mascot universe.
A public viewing of the one-and-only, solid-gold original FIFA World Cup Trophy will take place in conjunction with the store's launch, and attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with the trophy while seeing it.
