Come September 14, all roads for coffee lovers will lead to the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, where aficionados and professionals from all around the world will gather for the inaugural Doha International Coffee Exhibition 2023.

The three-day event, which will run until September 16, will undoubtedly be the place to be for coffee enthusiasts. Organised by the Qatar Specialty Coffee Association (QATSCA), the event will provide a vibrant platform for innovation, education, and coffee trade.

The exhibition will showcase unique, as well as the latest coffee products and services available in the market. There will also be coffee lectures and training programmes, featuring industry experts.

The exhibition will boast numerous exciting features. While the Qatar National Coffee Championships will pit the best of the best against one another, The Roasters’ Village will let micro-roasters directly meet customers.

There will also be showcases for the latest trends in coffee sourcing, handling, roasting, brewing, and distribution, accompanied by plenty of coffee-tasting opportunities.

While skilled baristas at The Brew/Espresso Bar will create some appealing beverages, coffee enthusiasts will get to savour unique coffee blends at the Cupping Corner. The exhibition will also offer tasting rooms for businesses to present their coffees to a select group of customers and tasters.

Following the success of coffee festivals in Paris, London, and Amsterdam, the inaugural Doha International Coffee Exhibition is also poised to become a gathering of enthusiasts and industry professionals.

“This exhibition has experienced remarkable growth in both scale and reputation worldwide over the past six years. It’s evolved from a modest event with 4,000 attendees and 60 exhibitors to a spectacular showcase featuring 12,945 visitors and over 340 exhibitors,” said the organisers.

The Middle East coffee industry has seen remarkable growth, with a compounded annual growth rate of 7.5%.

There has been a surge in demand for speciality coffee in countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
