Israel army bombs headquarters of Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza
Qatar, as well as other Arab and Muslim countries strongly condemned Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza (QCRG) headquarters on Monday.
Qatar said it considered the bombing as a clear violation of international law and an extension of the occupation army’s targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure including hospitals, schools, population centres and shelters for displaced people.

“The bombing of the QCRG headquarters is an extension of the policy of targeting civilians. The committee, through its projects, has worked to alleviate the suffering of the population in the besieged Gaza Strip due to the long blockade and ongoing aggression,” said Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement.
The ministry underscored the urgent need for the international community to hold Israel accountable for its repeated crimes against civilians and civilian infrastructure and pressure it to comply with international laws.
The Ministry also called on Israeli occupation forces to stop providing insubstantial justifications for targeting civilian facilities and health institutions while using misleading information.
Meanwhile, Arab and Islamic countries and organizations — Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, the GCC and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation — all issued statements late Monday condemning the bombing.
