The sixth edition of the extravagant Katara's International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S'hail 2022) is all set to launch. Operated under the wings of The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), the exhibition is starting from September 5 to 10 with more than 170 companies participating. 16 of those represent Arab nations while the rest belong to foreign countries.

Have a look at the previous edition of the S'hail exhibition:

"We are nearing the completion of the plan for the sixth edition of the Katara's International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, which has become an important date for falconers and hunting enthusiasts, not only at the local and regional level, but also globally," said Vice Chairman of the organizing committee of the Exhibition Mohammed bin Abdul Latif Al-Misnad.

Informing about a new rendition in the exhibition, he explained that it’s characterized by an expansion in the area by an estimated 20%. The venue site is also portioned into three halls. The first would be the tent occupied with falconry supplies on display along with the auction of the rarest falcon bird species. The second hall is to be filled with weapon companies amid their various exhibits while the third hall would commit to falcon birds farms, car equipment companies, and falconry trips. Interestingly, the general public is expecting to have a date for the first time with the (hybrid) hatchery auction.

In terms of contests, Al-Misnad clarified that public involvement would be permitted to get involved in games including the most beautiful pavilion and the most beautiful hood. In conjunction with the prior, competition for trips’ cooking will be initiated devoted to falconry lovers details of which shall be announced later. The restaurant S'hail is noteworthy to mention as it serves cuisines coherent with the hunting and falconry environment.

Supporting economic movement and marketing process in the field, this year’s edition won’t be confined to certain bounds. Enhancing our cultural and artistic scene to revive authentic heritage, various cultural and artistic events are in the pipeline. It includes the art of live painting where a bunch of proficient artists would be showcasing their talent ‘live’ which would be keenly inspired by the exhibition’s atmosphere. Poetry seminars and scientific lectures specialized in the field of falconry and hatching are part of the event as well. Pointing out the consistent work done towards the development of S'hail application, Al-Misnad discussed about providing opportunities for companies to start a virtual store on the application showcasing items and related data about them. This will guarantee an extraordinary impact on retail and promotions. It is notable to mention that the fifth edition of the S'hail exhibition had 160 international companies hailing from 19 countries accomplishing a high percentage of sales.
