The eighth edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S'hail 2024) will kick off on Tuesday and run until September 14. It will feature 166 companies from 19 countries specializing in hunting weapons, falconry, camping, desert trips, and hunting supplies.

A few companies from China and other European nations will take part for the first time.

Abdulaziz Al Sayed, Director of Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, said the organizing committee were putting in place the final touches for the exhibition, which enthusiasts around the country and the region eagerly await.

“This year, the exhibition will offer a wide range of new opportunities, amazing shows, and modern innovations in the field of hunting weapons and rifles, falconry supplies, hunting and desert trip equipment, in addition to a variety of competitions, events, and cultural and artistic activities that celebrate the heritage of hunting and falconry,” he said.

As usual, the S'hail Falcon Auction will be the exhibition's crowning jewel. It will display the finest and rarest types of falcons. This year, the auction can be joined in person or electronically.

He explained that this year, the organizing committee had selected a group of large local, Arab, and international companies that are pioneers in hunting weapons and hunting trips. They will offer modern and high-quality weapons at competitive prices.

Numerous interactive cultural and artistic events will be held, in addition to a series of scientific seminars, lectures, and poetry evenings.

This year, the organizing committee has set up a special tent on the southern side of Katara to facilitate the reception of weapons, hunting rifles, and ammunition. Multiple repair workshops for hunting weapons will also be held.

Several companies will display their latest offering of four-wheel drive vehicles and luxurious types of caravans used in desert and hunting trips.

This is in addition to the participation of ministries and official institutions such as the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Municipality, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and the Ministry of Communications.

Several veterinary clinics and pharmacies will be set up for falcons and birds. These will provide a series of medical and laboratory services, examinations, guidance information about birds, medicines, and treatment prescriptions.
