Visit Qatar announces the launch of Sealine Season, a vibrant, multi-activity festival that promises to deliver unforgettable experiences from January 3 to 27, 2025, at Al Sarab, Sealine Beach Road. This initiative, organized in collaboration with key partners such as the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Qatar Sports for All Federation, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, will transform Sealine Beach into a hub of activity, offering something for everyone.

A Celebration of Sports, Culture, and Adventure

Sealine Season is set to highlight Sealine Beach as a premier destination for leisure and entertainment. With activities ranging from sports competitions and cultural displays to adventure-filled attractions, the event is tailored to cater to all community segments, ensuring inclusivity and engagement.

Key Attractions Include:

  • Sports and Competitions: The Ministry of Sports and Youth will host volleyball and football tournaments, alongside other engaging physical challenges that promote health and fitness.
  • Live Entertainment: Visitors can enjoy spectacular concerts featuring Saad Juma and Dhom Al Tlasy on January 3, and Mohammed Al Bakri and Abdulaziz Al Thuehi on January 10. Each Friday, fireworks will light up the sky, providing a dazzling finale to the week’s events.
  • Adventure Activities: Desert safaris, ATV rides, horseback riding, tethered balloon experiences, and an R/C track will cater to thrill-seekers.
  • Cultural and Educational Displays: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change will showcase Qatar’s biodiversity with a special oryx exhibit, while Qatar Calendar House will host interactive astronomy exhibits. Falconry, calligraphy, and henna art will immerse visitors in Qatar’s rich cultural heritage.

Special Events to Look Out For:

  • Kite Festival: From January 16–18, the skies over Sealine Beach will be filled with vibrant kites, creating a picturesque spectacle for attendees.
  • Drone Shows: On January 23 and 24, cutting-edge drone shows will captivate audiences with dazzling aerial displays.
  • Cooking Competitions: Every Thursday and Friday, Chef Bel5ams will host exciting cooking competitions, adding a culinary twist to the festivities.

Family-Friendly Fun

Families will have plenty to enjoy with a dedicated Sports Family Zone, kids’ obstacle courses, and face painting during weekends. The event also features F&B stalls offering diverse culinary options to suit all tastes.

Supporting Eco-Tourism

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change is emphasizing Qatar’s natural beauty and commitment to sustainability. The oryx exhibit will educate visitors on the importance of preserving endangered species and the unique ecosystem of Sealine, known for its towering sand dunes and pristine coastline.

Enhanced Accessibility and Comfort

With a capacity to host up to 10,000 visitors, the Sealine Season venue will provide ample parking, full accessibility, and seamless operations managed by destination management companies such as Doha Bus, offering desert safari tours, and Monster Bus, accommodating groups of up to 32 people.

Collaborative Efforts for an Exceptional Experience

Sealine Season is a testament to Qatar’s collaborative spirit, with contributions from sponsors such as Seashore, Mawater, and Outpost Al Barari. The event will feature classic car displays, an Arabic tent with traditional experiences, and much more, ensuring a world-class experience for all attendees.
