Lusail Boulevard to turn ‘pedestrians only’ from Maghrib to Fajr prayers
Ever since its grand opening a few months ago, the Lusail Boulevard has been the venue for many memorable celebrations. With thousands of people always flocking to the area to celebrate major events, it has become a lively neighbourhood.
The area is expected to witness heavy footfall during the Holy month of Ramadan, especially during the evenings.
In order to effectively manage the rush and ensure everyone’s safety, Qatari Diar has announced that the Lusail Boulevard will be for ‘pedestrians only’ from Maghrib prayer time until Fajr (Dawn) prayer time.

Throughout the Holy month, the Lusail Boulevard will be off-limits for vehicles, said a tweet from Lusail City.
This is not the first time the facility has been closed off to traffic. It had been ‘pedestrians-only’ during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, when the Lusail Stadium hosted several World Cup matches including the final.
Earlier this month, a portion of the Lusail Boulevard had been closed to vehicular traffic during the 11-day Qatar International Food Festival.
