
Malls in Qatar that you should not miss visiting

With the soaring temperatures outside, malls are an ideal escape for everyone to head to for their dose of weekly reprieve. Not only do malls offer a break from the merciless temperatures outside, but also house the perfect amount of shopping, dining, and entertainment options for the entire family. Qatar has many amazing state-of-the-art malls that have been around for quite some time along with a few uxe ones. Whether it is Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City, Villagio Mall, or Ezdan Mall, families flock to these places as soon as the weekend begins. However, there are quite a few other malls in Qatar that have also been family favorites for quite a while.

Wathnan Mall
Wathnan Mall is one of the first family malls to open up in Qatar and has been frequented by a lot of families living here for many years. It has three floors and houses many different stores. The mall permits entry to only families after 3 pm, so it is, by all means, a full family mall.
Wathnan Mall houses many affordable brands that retail women’s abayas and gold jewelry apart from the usual stuff. The ground floor also has the spacious Masskar Hypermarket where many small and large families can shop from. Kids also can enjoy their time playing in Wathnan Fun City. The mall also has a decent amount of restaurants and food options to choose from.

Gulf Mall
Gulf Mall is another mall that, although well-known, is not as frequently visited as the other more popular malls. However, this mall definitely has a great selection of regional and international brand stores that make for a wholesome shopping experience for the entire family. The layout is very shopper-friendly and the mall has been maintained well so it is clean and good for window-shopping while also hanging out to dine with friends and family. Dining options include the usual KFC, Wendy’s, Papa John’s, Hardee’s, Tim Hortons, and Starbucks alongside many other unique dining brands like Ci Gusta!, Dipndip, and others.

Palms Mall
Palms Mall is relatively small compared to other ones in this list, but still a decent option to consider when heading out for a quick shopping trip. The mall has a couple of good stores including affordable abaya stores and other dining options too. The layout is almost that of a local bazaar style, so the shopping experience feels a bit more laidback and relaxed.

Royal Plaza Mall
The Royal Plaza Mall has a fair share of loyal customers who like to visit the place with their children on the weekends. The mall is clean, not too overcrowded, and has a good paid play area for the kids. It has a cinema and a few good dining options. The parking area is quite ample and you can surely have a good, relaxed weekend at this mall.

The Gate Mall
The Gate Mall is a fairly good destination if you are looking for lifestyle shopping and trendy chic shopping choices catering to a high-end market. Al Asmakh Mall
Al Asmakh Mall is also another fairly popular mall for many families in Qatar. Even though it isn’t huge, the mall has a plethora of shopping options that cater to women, men, and children. The food court also has very good dining options. There is an Al Meera here and even a Home Centre, so all your home shopping needs are also met here.

Dar Al Salam Mall
Dar al Salam Mall is another must-visit mall if you want to get away from the heavy crowds during the weekends, yet would love to enjoy a proper mall ambiance. This mall is host to several popular footwear, clothing, lifestyle, and home décor brands that are preferred for shopping by families, and even has a good-sized food court area.
