MoPH sets up COVID-19 Vaccination Scheduling Unit in Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has set up a COVID-19 Vaccination Scheduling Unit (VSU) to facilitate the vaccination of key service workers in Qatar.
This announcement was made today through the ministry’s Twitter account to support the gradual easing of restriction announced last night.
MoPH highlighted the importance of protecting individuals who work in service industries against COVID-19, especially business workers in support of the National COIVD-19 vaccination program.

According to MoPH, VSU will support the vaccination of workers in all businesses, but prioritization would be given to key businesses that in direct contact with the community.
This would include barber and hairdresser salons, restaurants, retail shops, supermarkets, hotels, and other hospitality services.
The Ministry pointed out that only businesses can contact VSU directly to schedule vaccination appointments for their staff through VCIA@hamad.qa
Furthermore, the vaccination service has already begun, and tens of thousands of workers have been vaccinated so far.
