Mowasalat celebrates QNSD
Mowasalat (Karwa) commemorated Qatar National Sports Day, showcasing the company's dedication to promoting sportsmanship and well-being within the community. With a focus on investing in human capital through sports, Mowasalat organized a diverse range of sporting events and activities aimed at enhancing the health and wellness of its employees.
This year, a wide array of sports catered to diverse interests. Team-based activities included Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Tug of War, Relay Races, Paddle, and Badminton, fostering teamwork and strengthening bonds among staff members.
Individual challenges were also available for those seeking personal achievement. The events team coordinated Marathon, Penalty Kick, Free Throw, Push-up, Pull-up, Tire Flip, Tire Pull, and various other athletics competitions.
Recognizing the importance of enjoyment in fostering a positive work environment, Mowasalat (Karwa) offered Friendly & Fun Games such as Table Tennis, Billiards, Darts, Carrom, Chess, and Foosball.
On this occasion, Mowasalat CEO Fahad Saad Al Qahtani said: “For a few years, we have put heightened emphasis on wellness of our employees, with ongoing enhancements of facilities and amenities, various and healthy food, sports and games offerings, as well as physical and mental health care. Recognizing the importance of maintaining physical fitness and mental well-being, our Sports Day is designed not just as a celebration, but as an embodiment of our ongoing commitment to the overall health of our workforce.”
The celebration of Qatar National Sports Day by Mowasalat (Karwa) this year took place at the sports complex at Mesaimeer Depot. Concentrating the event in a single location fostered a strong sense of community and ensured full engagement with the array of activities planned for the day.
The festivities concluded with an award ceremony at the Mesaimeer Depot, where participants' achievements were honored in the presence of company leaders.
