Nepal declares Public Holiday welcoming HH The Amir

In a gesture of warm welcome, Nepal announces a public holiday tomorrow, April 23, 2024, to honour the visit of His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar. This declaration comes as part of the esteemed leader's state visit to three Asian Nations, including Nepal.

His Highness arrived in Manila on Sunday, marking the commencement of his diplomatic journey which also includes stops in Bangladesh and The Phillippines. The occasion strengthens the deepening ties and mutual respect between Nepal and Qatar, as well as the significance of diplomatic engagements in fostering international cooperation and understanding.
