Nine Qatari Banks Shine in "The Banker’s Top 100 Arab Banks 2024" List

Qatar’s banking sector has once again demonstrated its robust financial strength, with nine of the nation’s banks earning spots in "The Banker’s Top 100 Arab Banks 2024" list. Released recenty, the prestigious ranking is based on a comprehensive evaluation across eight key financial metrics.

These metrics include Tier 1 Capital, asset size, pre-tax profits, and capital assets ratio, among others, highlighting not just the size but the financial soundness and performance of each institution. Topping the list was Saudi Arabia's Saudi National Bank, but Qatar's banks made a significant impact as well.

Leading the Qatari contingent is Qatar National Bank (QNB), which secured an impressive 3rd place. The other Qatari banks and their rankings are:
