Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines have entered a strategic partnership to strengthen air connectivity between Doha and Manila, enhancing travel options for passengers flying between the Philippines, Qatar and beyond.

Effective June 16, 2025, Philippine Airlines will commence daily nonstop flights between Manila and Doha. In the initial phase of the collaboration, Qatar Airways will codeshare on these seven weekly flights, enabling seamless connectivity to over 170 destinations across the Qatar Airways global network, including Africa, the Americas, Central Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Flights from Manila (PR684) will depart daily at 18:50, arriving in Doha at 23:40. Eastbound flights from Doha (PR685) will depart at 01:30, reaching Manila by 16:15 - ensuring optimal transfer times for travelers in both directions via Hamad Internationlal Airport, recently named Skytrax's Best Airport in the Middle East for 2025.

Mr. Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer at Qatar Airways, stated, “This partnership with Philippine Airlines reinforces our goal to strengthen global connectivity and deepen the socio-economic ties between Qatar and the Philippines.”

Captain Stanley K. Ng, President and COO of Philippine Airlines, added, “This strategic alliance will not only expand access for our passengers but also support tourism, trade, and economic growth. It will particularly benefit Overseas Filipino Workers and their families.”

Looking ahead, the two carriers plan to explore additional areas of cooperation, including expanded destination offerings and reciprocal frequent flyer benefits.

The daily flights will be operated using Philippine Airlines’ Airbus A330-300 aircraft, configured with 18 flat-bed Business Class seats and 341 Economy Class seats.
