Pakistani Mango Festival sells over 92,000 kilos in four days
The inaugural Pakistan Mango Festival at Souq Waqif 'Al Hamba' has attracted a large turnout, leading to substantial mango sales during its initial days.
The first four days alone, the festival sold a remarkable 92,363 kg of mangoes.
The sales distribution over the first four days is as follows:
- Day 1: 14,533 kg
- Day 2: 31,368 kg
- Day 3: 26,585 kg
- Day 4: 19,877 kg
Running from June 27 to July 6, this 10 day event features features 50 companies across 100 stalls.
It showcases a variety of some of the best Pakistani mangoes, including Sindhri, Chaunsa, Safeed Chaunsa, Anwar Ratool, and Duseri. Additionally, the festival offers other seasonal fruits such as falsa, jamun, and peaches, providing a broader taste of Pakistani produce.
