"Palestine Duty Relief" Campaign raises over QR200 million in support of Gaza victims
Qatar's 'Palestine Duty Relief' campaign, led by RACA, Qatar Red Crescent Society, and Qatar Charity, accumulated an astounding QR 200 million in aid for Gaza.
The initiative, bolstered by donations from various sectors, including a significant QR 100 million contribution from the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, aimed to aid those affected by the Gaza conflict.
The fundraising drive, held on Qatar National Day and broadcasted on Qatar TV, witnessed an overwhelming response from donors across society, including corporations individuals, and even children,
The funds will support crucial relief efforts, including medical supplies sent through Qatari Air Force planes and a forthcoming relief ship from Doha carrying essential materials to meet the pressing health, food, and shelter needs of Gaza's residents.
The campaign's ultimate goal is to aid 100,000 individuals affected by the conflict, addressing their basic needs and offering support to health and education sectors, symbolizing Qatar's unwavering commitment to global humanitarian causes.
