Paris Saint-Germain to visit Doha from January 16

By QLNews

For the first time since 2019, Paris Saint-Germain will visit Doha from January 16 to 20, 2022, for their regular Qatar Winter Tour.

All first-team players from Paris Saint-Germain will fly from France following their home encounter against Brest in Ligue 1.

PSG will have superstars Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe. Before returning to France, the delegation will play a friendly match in the Saudi Arabian city of Riyadh. Paris Saint-Germain will face a team made up of players from Al Hilal and Al Nassr FC, two of Saudi Arabia's strongest clubs.

In Doha, the squad will take use of the Aspire Zone's excellent training facilities as well as the country's perfect weather conditions for this time of year.

The Qatar Winter Tour is an opportunity for the club to discover the numerous new sights and experiences that have been established since their last visit, as well as to promote Qatar as a tourist destination.

This trip will also provide the squad with the opportunity to meet local supporters and participate in activations with its partners, both Qatari and worldwide companies having a presence in the nation, in order to create lasting memories.

Some of the fresh new 2022 World Cup facilities will be used in the events. The players will also pay a visit to the Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Doha, which is open all year on Qatar Foundation pitches.

Qatar has hosted various tours for Paris Saint-Germain's teams, including the Qatar Handball Tour in 2014 and 2015, the Qatar Ladies Tour in 2015, and the Qatar Tour in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Qatar Tourism offers millions of football fans the chance to experience all that Qatar has to offer, including its culture and hospitality, as part of their cooperation.

PSG has evolved into one of the world's top football clubs and worldwide sports brands since QSI purchased the club in 2011. Since then, the team has won 25 trophies in only nine years, for a total of 43 in its history, making it France's most successful football club.
