PM lays foundation stone for Doha Winter Wonderland project

His Excellency Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani today witnessed the signing of a contract to set up the Doha Winter Wonderland project.

The project has been signed between Qatari Diar, Qatar Tourism and Elegance Group and is expected to be operational by next year.

HE the PM laid the foundation stone for the project in Lusail City and also viewed a presentation about the Doha Winter Wonderland Project.

The project covers an area of 200,000 square meters on Al Maha Island and includes six play areas with 50 international games for different ages, a beach club, family chalets, a party area, a sports area, restaurants and cafes, a walkway and parking, Qatari Diar mentioned in a tweet.

The entertainment venue will start receiving visitors before the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, serving as a new destination for citizens and residents of Qatar as well as tourists from around the world.
